Latest Update On Nelson Asofa-Solomona’s Bid To Play In The Grand Final

It wouldn’t be NRL Grand Final week without a judiciary drama and the latest involving Storm star Nelson Asofa-Solomona has taken a twist.

According to News Corp’s David Riccio, the Storm were set to accept the monster ban handed down to the towering prop.

However, the Melbourne club have now decided to fight the charge and are even looking to get the hearing fast-tracked to Monday night.

Asofa-Solomona was hit with a Grade 3 carless high tackle charge and is facing a four-five week suspension.

The Storm are seeking a double downgrade to a Grade 1 charge which would allow Asofa-Solomona to play in Sunday’s Grand Final against the Panthers.
