Michael Chammas gave a major update on the current Lachlan Galvin saga playing out at the Wests Tigers on Triple M’s The Journos.
It’s already well documented that the young playmaker will be departing the club at the expiration of his contract.
Yet, with legal issues between himself and the Tigers, the influence of his agent Isaac Moses, an immediate release is looking most likely before the June 30 deadline.
And after being heavily booed at Campbelltown Stadium, one of the home grounds of the Wests Tigers in their loss to South Sydney Rabbitohs, a breakup seems best for all parties involved.
But Chammas has explained how the NRL’s soft cap, or in other terms, luxury tax will prove to be a major factor for Galvin’s next move.
