Dylan Edwards’ quad injury sent shockwaves through the Blues camp this weekend but New South Wales couldn’t really asked for a better replacement according to newly appointed Blues Captain Jake Trbojevic.
“Mate it’s a fair replacement when on a Sunday arvo you can call in James Tedesco, he comes with 22 Origins and he’s captained us a number of times so it’s a great replacement.” said Trbojevic
“Obviously we feel sorry for Dylan he’s been in great form the last four or five years and really deserves this opportunity but you know he’ll get his time and he worked really hard during the week so it’s devastating for him.”
“To get Tedesco to come straight in now is a really blessing for us!”
