Wendell Sailor has poured cold water over Zac Lomax’s ambitions to move into the halves, feeling that he’s best suited as an attacking weapon on the centres.
“He’s got such talent, he wanted to play fullback now he wants to play five-eighth.” said Sailor.
“He can be a really good centre, I reckon just concentrate on getting that right.”
“I don’t want him at six, I want him as a strike centre!”
Lomax recently appeared on The Bye Round Podcast with James Graham, telling the England international that his preference is to play in the halves beside Ben Hunt.
