Former Broncos Hardman Admits to Faking Injury

There’s serious questions marks over the playing future of Newcastle Knights fullback and NRL pin-up boy Kalyn Ponga following another serious head knock last weekend.

Ponga, who missed the final rounds of last season due to copping three concussions in six weeks, was helped from the field just eighty seconds into the Knights clash against the Tigers on Sunday after a collision with Asu Kepaoa.

The NRL has been quick to act on concussions this season announcing yesterday a mandatory 11-day standdown period for any player who suffers a concussion.

Discussing the new policy on Triple M Breakfast with Marto, Margaux and Dan this morning, Margaux Parker opened up about an honest discussion she had with her husband, former Broncos and Queensland Origin player Corey Parker.

Parker admitting that he often faked injury to avoid being called “soft,” for suffering from a head knock.
