Carl Webb Dies After Long Battle With Motor Neurone Disease

Former NRL cult hero Carl Webb has died after a long battle with Motor Neurone Disease.

Webb, who played 187 games for the Brisbane Broncos, North Queensland Cowboys and Parramatta Eels, was just 42 years old.

He made his name on the Origin stage, playing 15 matches for Queensland and making himself a cult hero in the process.

Webb also turned out for the Indigenous All Stars in the inaugural All Stars Game in 2010.
