Brent Read joined The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell and explained how the $600m taxpayer money will be used on the likely Papua New Guinean newest NRL franchise.

“It’ll be $600m over 10 years,” said Ready.
“$270-280m will go towards pathways in the Pacific and building up rugby league in those areas.
“Another about $280m will go towards the team, making sure they can operate and functional.
“And about $50-60m will be divided amongst the existing clubs to make sure they’re on board with everything.”
