Injured Sydney Roosters star Brandon Smith joined Triple M’s Rush Hour Sydney to rip into the NRL Finals.

The number nine suffered a ruptured ACL in his side’s Round 26 loss to Canberra Raiders which also saw the club lose halfback Sam Walker with a similar injury.
Even though they’re down on troops, the Roosters are aiming to galvanise against Smith’s former club Melbourne Storm in this week’s preliminary final.
Motivation is at an all time high to send off clubs legends Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, Joey Manu, Luke Keary, plus young superstar Joseph Sua’ali’i off with a premiership.
Yet, Smith believes people are underrating the Chooks and is prepared to make notes on his former side from his bed, inviting head coach Trent Robinson for a visit.
“Unless he comes to my bed he isn’t going to get anything,” exclaimed Cheese.
“I’ve been back watching a few of the games Melbourne have played and I’ll be sure to send some stuff.”
But in order to lift the title, the Chooks have to beat Storm and then a likely Grand Final match up against reigning three-time champions Penrith Panthers, two sides the Roosters have only earned one win in their last 21 outings.
