Former Broncos star Ben Te’o has labelled his former side as his favourites for the 2023 NRL premiership, following their emphatic 32-10 win over the Roosters in Round 22.
Speaking on The Saturday Scrum on Triple M NRL, Te’o said he sees ‘something special’ in this year’s Broncos outfit.
“For me, they’re the favourites right now,” he said.
“I still think Penrith are a dangerous side, they’ve got so much experience in those big games, but something tells me there’s something special about this Broncos group.
“I think at the moment, with all the athletes they’ve got… they’ve got all the ingredients to really upset some teams in the finals.”
