Only one finals spot remains available with two games remaining, and both clubs from Queensland’s capital sit two points behind eighth placed St George Illawarra Dragons.
A win for either side may see them in the top eighth pending results, whilst a loss may see their entire 2024 campaign come to an end.
It’s been a far cry for a Broncos outfit that had one hand on the Premiership in last year’s Grand Final loss to Penrith Panthers but Reynolds is focusing on the present and salvaging a disappointing season for his club.
“We know what’s in front of us, we need to win our last games,” said Reynolds.
“We need a couple results to go our way.
“We need to start a lot better than we have in previous weeks.”
