Brisbane Broncos chief playmaker Adam Reynolds ruptured his bicep in his side’s loss to fellow title hopefuls Sydney Roosters.
It’s a major blow for last season’s runners-up as Reynolds will miss most of the regular season.

Though, in some relief for Bronx fans, Ben Dobbin had encouraging news.
“Mark this date down,” started Dobbin.
“10th August, Saturday night, Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
“That is the next time you will be seeing Adam Reynolds play for the Brisbane Broncos.”
An all Queensland affair against the North Queensland Cowboys in Round 23 will mark Reynolds’ supposed comeback.
Though, the Broncos who have been struck by a fair amount of injuries already, still have a gruelling State of Origin period to grind through where it’s fair to assume, many will be featured for either Queensland or New South Wales.
It will be a major challenge for Kevin Walters’ side to maintain some sort of momentum before Reynolds takes back the playmaking reigns.
If they look south to the border, you can see what happens if they can’t figure out a formidable Plan B.
