Triple M’s and dual code legend Wendell Sailor had a hilarious response to Brandon Smith’s cheeky sledge suggesting Roosters winger Joseph Suaalii wouldn’t be enough to beat the All Blacks.

The Roosters hooker on Sunday fired off a set of cheeky sledges at his teammate and Rugby Australia’s coup, after the governing body signed Suaalii to a $1.6 million per year deal from 2025.
“I think a $1.6 million winger from the Roosters isn’t going to help you beat the All Blacks,” A smiling Smith told reporters.
Sailor, who infamously left the NRL at the end of 2001 to take up a lucrative deal in the 15-man code, fired back at Smith with a cheeky sledge of his own.
