Broncos legend Gorden Tallis says he’s stunned the Roosters have successfully landed a pair of key players this month, declaring the duo couldn’t have signed with the Bondi-based club for only cultural reasons.

The Roosters last week shocked the NRL world when it was revealed that England international and Knights winger Dom Young will join the club in 2024.
Then on Monday, Trent Robinson’s side landed another big fish when reports emerged that two-time premiership-winning panther Spencer Leniu would also join the Tricolours next season.
“They keep signing these players and I don’t know how. I actually don’t know how,” Tallis said on LiSTNR’s Footy Talk League Podcast.
“It’s a running joke, but I just don’t know how they can keep on signing these players.”
