Roosters hooker Brandon Smith has confirmed he will miss an extended period of time after suffering a thumb injury during his side’s 24-22 loss to the Dragons on Friday night.

Smith failed to finish the match, coming off in the 60th minute to deal with a thumb injury.
He explained the full extent of the injury on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum and revealed just how many weeks he expects to miss.
“It’s not looking too good,” Smith said.
