Roosters Coach Trent Robinson was far from impressed with several calls in his sides loss to the Melbourne Storm on Thursday night.
He was particularly irked at the decision to award the Storm a try when it appeared that Nelson Asofa-Solomona gave his teammate Eliesa Katoa a push across the line.
Ryan Girdler sympathised with the Roosters coach, and lamented the fact the NRL seems so trigger happy to constantly update the rulebook.
“The problem is we decide as a game to bring all these ridiculous rules, no one understands them!” said Girdler
“Now there were other situations in that contest that the Roosters could have done a lot better if they wanted to win that game I think everyone agrees but Robbo[Trent Robinson] is 100% right.”
“Nelson had his hands on the back, you could see that.”
