Mitchell Moses Winning The Race For Blues No.7 Jersey, Says James Hooper

Leading NRL journalist James Hooper says there has been “very strong mail” that Eels playmaker Mitchell Moses will be the man to replace the injured Nathan Cleary despite calls for Nicho Hynes to get the nod.

The debate over who will land the No.7 jersey has been the talk of pundits this week after first-choice halfback Cleary suffered a hamstring injury last weekend, leaving coach Fittler with a difficult decision to make on who should replace the champion halfback.

“There’s been very strong mail over the course of the last week,” Hooper said on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin.
