‘How Will Milford Stand Up?’

David Riccio on Saturday Scrum explained how he’s interested to see Anthony Milford take the reins at the Dolphins.

Starting halfback and key figure Sean O’Sullivan came off the field with a torn pectoral in their 12-18 loss.

The Dolphins now have an extensive list of outs, though Riccio is more concerned about Milford slotting into the starting side.

These worries stem from the drama after head coach and legendary mastermind Wayne Bennett criticised Milford’s effort in the off-season.

But it wasn’t only his coach but also his teammates.

‘I’m really intrigued to see how Milford stands up and responds to, what I thought was telling criticism.

‘You don’t get Wayne Bennett going public and calling out one of his own players.’
