Melbourne captain Max Gawn spoke on rising calls for the AFL to introduce a mid-season trade period, and the potential issues that would stem league-wide
“The biggest thing would be the intel that [a traded player] can take to the other team,” Gawn said on Triple M’s Marty Sheargold Show.
Gawn admits he’s “on the fence” given clubs are lacking in certain areas of the ground throughout the season, but says he enjoys the confidentiality within the league.
