LIV Golf CEO Greg Norman has opened up about the personal toll that the LIV Tour has taken on him.
“It has been tough Howie, I’m not going to lie,” Norman told Mark Howard on The Howie Games podcast.
“There’s been times when I wake up very early in the morning and my wife will say to my ‘Oh my gosh. How are you feeling’.”
“She feels it, she sees it, but you get that right hug at the right time.”
“I’ve had so many of the players come up and thank me for being the heat shield for them. Taking all the arrows, bullets, bazookas, whatever was thrown my way.”
“It’s not that difficult when you believe in what you are doing. It’s all about the game golf and what we can do with the game of golf,”
“I’m a tougher son of a b*tch than I ever thought I was,” Norman joked.
