“If They Don’t Get That Done By November 1 It’s Going To Make Life Difficult For Them” | Brent Read On Luai Panthers Deal

The Penrith Panthers are looking to secure the long term future of Jarome Luai as soon as possible.

Speaking on The Rush Hour With Gus, Wendell & Jude, Brent Read revealed the reigning premiers are having a tough time keeping all their young stars.

“Jarome Luai is their marquee man, he’s the one, he’s their number one priority.” said Read

“Until they know what Jarome Luai is going to do, they can’t really sit down and nut out a deal with these other guys.”

“Jarome’s put off all talks until the grand final is over.”

The Panthers have multiple players coming off contract, including Mitch Kenny, Sunia Turuva and Taylan May.
