Rugby league great has questioned whether the Roosters should look at moving outgoing teen star Joseph Suaalii to the reserves.

With the Roosters mired in a form slump and finals football slipping away, Tallis argued coach Trent Robinson should take a page out of Wayne Bennett’s book, who in 2001 infamously dropped a 19-year-old Justin Hodges after the centre signed a deal with a rival club.
“Maybe the Roosters should’ve done that,” Tallis said on Triple M’s Sunday Sin Bin.
“I know it’s a big decision, but that’s what they need to do for the rest of the organisation.”
