Virat Kohli has been a fiery opponent for Australia for years and years on the cricket field.
But – as Brad Haddin explained on Willow Talk on the morning of the first Test in Nagpur – there was one time the Aussies were able to get under Kohli’s skin.
Kohli has been a nemesis against India across the last decade, plundering 15 centuries across all formats.
So one time – at lunch during the 2014 Boxing Day Test – Hadds decided it was time to rile him up and get him off his game.
And it worked.
“We did it to Kohli at the MCG,” he explained.
“We had a quick debrief at the lunch break and we said ‘we’ve got to get him out of his bubble’…”
