Meg Lanning surprised the cricket world when she made the decision to retire from international cricket at the age of 31.
One of the most successful cricketers of all time pulled the pin on playing for Australia in 2023 due to an undisclosed medical issue.
Six months on, Meg has kept the condition private – but on the latest episode of The Howie Games, she opened up on the mental and physical toll that forced her out of the game.
“I didn’t realise that I was doing this,” she explained to Mark Howard.
“What I have come to know is that everybody’s always going through something. No matter how much they look like they’ve got things under control.”
