Cal Ferguson Opens Up On His Brutal Axing After One Test Match

On Dead Set Legends Adelaide, Cal Ferguson opened up on his experiences of playing one Test match and being axed.

Ferguson made his Test debut as cap 445 against South Africa in 2016, but was dropped after the single Test, a decision that still “grates” him to this day.

LISTEN HERE:

“I thought I’d get another crack at it… That’s something that still grates me a bit.

“[It] took 15 years to get a crack and then see ya mate, bad luck.

“If you’ve been selected on merit, then generally you get more than one game.”
