43 long painful years it took for South Sydney Rabbitohs to finally get back on top of the podium. 2014 premiership hero Ben Te’o sat down with The Rush Hour with Gus, Jude & Wendell to discuss that famous night.

Te’o explained that him and his teammates were expecting the world from their Hollywood A-lister boss Russell Crowe after the club finally won the premiership.
Yet, he went onto explain how stunned he was by the poor showing.
“It was pretty shit to be honest…

“I thought, we’re going to win this competition, Russell Crowe’s going to put it on for us, we’re going to have a super yacht.
“Gonna put us on a plane to the Playboy Mansion…
“Nothing! Nothing!
“I’ll never forget I turned up down the water and the Souths Juniors boat turned up.
“It looked like a fishing trawler!
“After that we never saw Russell!”
