Former Essendon coach James Hird has opened up about what unfolded at Essendon during the supplements saga.
“We had two people there… that were bad people,” Hird told Mark Howard on The Howie Games podcast.

Hird says Bombers players were put in a compromised position that they should not have been put in.
“When things happened all I was trying to do was get players out of that position so that they were seen of being totally innocent,” Hird told Howie.
