Dale Thomas, Leigh Montagna & Damian Barrett debated on Triple M’s Midweek Rub if Harry McKay’s inclusion back into the Carlton side will unsettle the balance of the side.
Montagna would have been more conservative with McKay’s return to the field, thinking he might unbalance their forward line that has been functioning brilliantly in his absence.
“I’m slightly hesitant,” Montagna said.
“They are flying. The way they are playing they are humming.”
THE McKAY DEBATE:
“What is the flow on effect? How does it change the dynamic?”
“There is a flow on effect. It’s not just a simple as you put in a good player, you are going to be better.”
Joey said that he would have been tempted to leave McKay out this week and stick with the winning formula.
