Dale Thomas and Bryce Gibbs were en route to Marc Murphy’s bucks party in Las Vegas.
But Bryce was all over his phone.
That was because – as Daisy recalled on Thursday’s Footy Talk – he was trying to land a trade from Carlton to Adelaide.
“It was coming down to trade deadline, we were boarding the flight from Melbourne to New Zealand,” he said
“As the plane took off, there was still like 15 minutes to go. No WiFi on this plane, so we didn’t know…”
