Nick Riewoldt has slammed the decision to suspend Toby Greene for a week for his hit on Jordan Boyd, threatening “people will vote with their feet”.
Riewoldt joined Leigh Montagna on Footy Talk on Tuesday morning, before Greene was set to face the tribunal to contest his ban.
Greene left the ground to contest a mark but turned and collected Boyd in the head, being cited for rough conduct.
And Riewoldt fired both barrels at the decision.
“I expected him to get rubbed out because that’s the way the league is going, but I hate it…”
