One of Brisbane’s most talked about draft picks in history, Will Ashcroft opened up on the Footy Talk podcast about his season ending ACL injury.
Ashcroft ruptured his ACL during the Lions round 19 clash against Geelong. Crumbling to the ground holding his right knee, the seriousness of the injury was evident immediately. The 19 year old has since had to sit on the sidelines as his teammates continued through to qualify for finals.
Will joined Dale Thomas on the Footy Talk podcast this morning and spoke candidly about how he’s dealing with the injury, the impact it’s had on him and how the club is supporting him.
