Melbourne’s Jacob Van Rooyen is set to face scrutiny for a spoil gone wrong that saw Gold Coast’s Charlie Ballard unable to finish Saturday night’s loss to the Dees.
Jay Clark believes the forward is set for a stint on the sidelines, something that fired up Leigh Montagna, Nathan Brown, Stevie Johnson and Dale Thomas.
“The game broadly wants there to be consequences for those sort of actions,” Jay Z said.
“It is careless conduct, high contact and severe impact and tribunal referral.”
