After the Blues’ tough loss to Sydney on Friday night, Dead Set Legends with Joey, Jay, Kath and Lehmo opened the lines for frustrated Carlton to call in and vent on Saturday morning.
Even after having a night to sleep on the result, Carlton fans were still keen to let their frustrations out.
The fans we spoke to spoke about their frustrations with Jack Silvagni getting dropped, the Blues’ game plan, Harry McKay’s goal kicking, and the general malaise at the Blues.
Later on Dead Set Legends, Jay Clark outlined the issues the Blues will have fielding a midfield this week.
“If you look at this midfield, they could come in with half of it next week against Melbourne,” he said.
“Four midfielders, four of their first-rate midfielders are going to be missing.”
The Blues will be missing Ollie Hollands (shoulder), Nic Newman (hamstring), and George Hewett (concussion) on Friday night, with Adam Cerra set to challenge an MRO ban and Patrick Cripps under an injury cloud after hurting his ankle.
The Blues have slumped to 13th after losing six of their last seven games, and director Craig Mathieson stepped off the board this morning.
Carlton have games against Melbourne, Essendon and Gold Coast in the next three rounds before their bye.
