Daisy Thomas Tells Us What It’s Like To Play on Anzac Day

Anzac Day at a packed MCG between Collingwood and Essendon is always one of the landmark fixtures of the season.

And our own Daisy Thomas took us inside what it’s like to play on the special day, having played seven times on April 25 across his career.

DAISY REFLECTS ON ANZAC DAY FOOTY:

“This is the one thing I miss about playing at the elite level,” Daisy told The Sunday Rub.

“The MCG.. this only happens about three times a year when it’s full, and when you walk up the race and you hear the noise and (it) hits you before you see anyone, you can actually feel it. It gives me the hairs standing up even now.”
