Nick Riewoldt believes the GWS Giants are now “so clearly” the best team in the competition after their 3-0 start to the season.
Speaking on Footy Talk with Leigh Montagna, Riewoldt believes they’ve now finally figured out the balance between their stars and their role players to take the league by storm.
“As much as we thought they were going to destroy the competition, they are on the cusp of doing it,” he said.
Joey completely agreed.
“They are one of the youngest sides going around. It is scary how good they are,” he replied.
“You could argue they’ve got the best defender in the competition in Sam Taylor, the best forward in the competition in Toby Greene…and Tom Green is the favourite to win the Brownlow Medal.”
