Brayden Maynard will face the AFL tribunal at 4pm this afternoon to determine his finals fate. A bump on Angus Brayshaw during Thursday night’s match left the Demon unconscious, and the Pie looking at a 3 week ban.
This morning, former St Kilda captain Nick Riewoldt spoke about the stance he expects the AFL will take.

On Friday, the AFL ruled that it would refer the incident straight to the tribunal.
Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin told the media today that Brayshaw was “feeling a lot better” and if progress continued, the Dees could start to have conversations with him regarding his return later in the finals series, if the Demons were to qualify.
