How Brendan Fevola Started One Of The Great Carlton/Collingwood Fights In 2007

Carlton and Collingwood have always had a long and chequered history.

Throw a rogue Brendan Fevola into the mix and it gets a little more chaotic.

That’s what happened in 2007, when a Fev bump on Alan Didak started one of the great all-in melees at quarter time.

And caused Fev to send one of the great letters to a furious Mick Malthouse.

“I went through Alan Didak, because Didak for the last two years, he knocked out Marc Murphy…he did the same thing to ‘Scotto’ (Heath Scotland) and he got (Bryce) Gibbs,” he recalled.

“And I went enough’s enough, I’m gotta get this little prick…”
