It’s only taken four games for West Coast to see Harley Reid’s impact.
As spotted on the Triple M coverage of West Coast’s clash with Sydney on Saturday, Reid successfully broke seven tackles.
Not only was it the most tackles broken by one player in a game this season, it sits third in the history of the stat.
Only Dustin Martin in the 2017 preliminary final and Luke Davies-Uniacke late in the 2022 season have broken more tackles in a game, sharing the record with eight.
It also takes Reid’s total tally of broken tackles to 11 – the most of any single player this year.
Reid’s 11 tackles broken sits above Jordan De Goey, Christian Petracca and James Worpel, each of whom have recorded nine this year.
