Former AFL and WAFL player Andrew Krakouer has died, aged 42.
Krakouer passed away after a reported heart attack on Sunday in Western Australia.
His career contained a long list of accolades, including a WAFL premiership with Swan Districts, a Sandover Medal and the 2011 Mark of the Year while playing with Collingwood.
He started his career at Richmond, playing 102 games over a seven-year stretch.
He returned to Swan Districts in the WAFL after being delisted in 2007 where he starred in the 2010 grand final with 42 disposals and four goals, including the match winner.
Collingwood picked him up in 2010, where he played 35 games for 50 goals, including three goals in the 2011 AFL grand final.
Krakouer was the son of Jim Krakouer, nephew of Phil Krakouer and cousin of former AFL player Nathan Krakouer.
