North Melbourne forward Cam Zurhaar spoke about Ben Cunnington’s inspirational comeback from testicular cancer, after the much loved Shinboner announced his retirement today.
“He’s inspirational,” Zurhaar said on the Rush Hour with JB & Billy.
“When he came back, obviously, from cancer… the way he went about it and got around the young fellas, he’s an absolute star of our footy club and he’s gonna be greatly missed.”

Zurhaar told us he’d actually been training with Cunnington recently.
“In the last year, me and him have been working out together, it’s been good,” he said.
“He just throws around weight, and he’s just that powerful.
“He’s a beast!”
