The Friday night Lions/Dees clash was filled with drama after the game was halted when the lights suddenly went out.
No one was closer to it than Abbey Holmes, who had to fill the 38 minutes of air time from the boundary.
“It was the greatest display of padding I have ever seen,” Daisy Thomas told her on Footy Talk.
“(I had to fill) 38 minutes! Can you believe it?” she laughed.
“And apparently I had the only working microphone in Queensland. We lost everything. So obviously JB, BT, the callers, we had Richo and Hodgey up there as well, and lost them.”
“I just could very, very slightly hear my producer just being like ‘you’ve gotta talk, just talk’…”
