Abbey Holmes has fired back at Kane Cornes for branding the football in Darwin as “unwatchable and unplayable” and a reason why the Northern Territory shouldn’t get a 20th AFL licence.

Where the AFL expands to next after Tasmania enters the competition and makes it 19 teams is a hot topic of debate, with the Northern Territory one of the leading contenders.
Cornes was against this, pointing to the “style” of the Suns’ win over the Kangaroos on Saturday night.
And Abbey took the argument down.
“Kane Cornes, after last week’s game with the Suns and North Melbourne, said this is a perfect example of why we can’t have a twentieth team in the Northern Territory,” she began.
