In the wake of the recent heartbreaking news about Rugby League Immortal Wally Lewis‘ CTE diagnosis, Triple M’s Aaron Woods has shared his concerns about his life after retirement.

“I’ve got two kids, I’ve got another one on the way…I’ve got a wife.
“It’s not just about me and about what I can provide for my family” said Woods on Triple M’s Saturday Scrum.
“It does comes across the back of your mind a fair bit, he was the King.
“He was ‘The Great Wally Lewis’ and to see what he’s going through now… he couldn’t even remember a few sentences.”
In recent interview on 60 Minutes the Queensland Origin legend revealed the shocking extent of his condition, detailing his struggle to remember basic sentences just minutes after hearing them.
