Why Do Songs Get Stuck In Our Head, And How Do We Get Them Out?

Have you ever been sitting at your desk, minding your own business when out of nowhere a tune bubbles into your brain? So what does science say about earworms? Where they come from and is there any cure?

Our brains are complex organs that are responsible for controlling everything to do with the functioning of our bodies and our ability to.. well… exist. As well as keeping us alive, they’re where thoughts and memories live, and these are where we start today – because without our ability to recall information … we’d never have an earworm.
