Daly Cherry-Evans’ Options As His Manly Sea Eagles Future Is In Question

Manly Sea Eagles legend, one-club player and captain Daly Cherry-Evans may have to look elsewhere in 2026 if he wants to continue his playing as the 36-year-old now enters the twilight of his long career.

Ageing like fine wine, it’s easy to argue that DCE is still in his prime as he led the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin last year and is likely to do so again in 2025.

But Buzz Rothfield on Triple M NRL Daily explained that the Sea Eagles only want to offer a one-year extension on less money he earns now but Cherry-Evans likely wants two years.
