The Brisbane Broncos dropped a bombshell on Thursday night with their announcement that Kevvie Walters will no longer be their head coach.
Brent Read revealed that the Broncos internal review into the disastrous 2024 season sealed Kevvie’s fate.
“That review has uncovered things that basically made his position untenable.” said Read

“Once that happens they have to move on and as we always say, it’s much easier to move on a coach.”
“The players were part of the review as well as some of the management team
and obviously all of Kev’s staff, I’m told some of it was quite damning.”
