The $50K Bonus At The Centre Of Josiah Pahulu’s Desire To Leave The Titans

The Titans seemingly calculated denial of a $50,000 bonus to Josiah Pahulu is the major reason for his request for a release.

“He had a clause in his contract that said if he played 20 games that he would get a $40,000 – $50,000 bonus.” said Michael Chammas on Footy Talk League.

“Played the 19 games, there’s one more round to go in the season Titans rest him for the final round.”

FOOTY TALK

“The kid’s upset about it clearly because he’s asked for release.”

Pahulu is still under contract for the 2025 season but several clubs have been circling, with the Bulldogs rumoured to be the frontrunners to secure his signature.
