Dylan Edwards wow’d both Penrith and Rugby League fans last night with an incredible solo try out of seemingly nothing, scoring off his own grubber while pirouetting with the grace of ballet dancer at the Opera House.
Our man on the mic Dan Ginnane was there and as always his call was absolutely on point.
“Edwards does a 360, grubbers, chases SCORES!”
“Not known for his brilliance, that is as brilliant as anything you’ve ever seen!”
“That was Tedesco that Edwards did the 360 on, that’s an incredible play from Edwards.”
Edwards then cooly slotted the goal from the sideline to put Penrith up 12-0 in the contest, which the premiers went on to win 22-16 despite missing numerous big guns including star halfback Nathan Cleary.
