Ryan Papenhuyzen has put all contract talks with the Melbourne Storm on hold until the conclusion of the 2024 season.
“There’s been a story doing the rounds that he’d put contract all contract talks on hold till after the season – I just spoke to Paps about it this morning and he said ‘Yeah it’s true.'” said Brent Read on Triple M’s Monday Scrum.

“His concern was that he didn’t want stories coming out during the finals about his future and where and what he might be thinking.”
“Doesn’t want to go anywhere, loves the place obviously.”
Papenhuyzen has one year remaining on his current deal and will be free to open up negotiations with rival clubs after November 1st, although he’s indicated his desire is to stay in Melbourne.
