“None Of Those Are Better Than Brad Arthur!” Gordy On The Eels Coaching Candidates

The list of candidates for vacant Parramatta Eels head coach job continues to grow, but Gorden Tallis isn’t overly impressed with any of the names floated in the media.

“None of those are better than Brad Arthur, if I saw Brad Arthur’s face there I’d go Brad Arthur’s the top dog.” said Tallis

When pressed on who he’d give the job to, Tallis picked two of the Eels faithfuls favourite sons.

“Me personally? I’d go for Luke Burt and Nathan Cayless, two Parramatta guys who have come through a very successful thing. They both been coaching for ten or twelve years, and then Lurt Burt’s got his own team.”

Multiple names have been linked to the job so far, including Jason Ryles, Justin Holbrook, Michael Magurie and even former Wallabies head coach Michael Cheika.
