Queensland Origin and newly re-signed South Sydney Rabbitoh Jai Arrow was bitterly disappointed at the Bunnies back half of the 2023 season.
Speaking on Triple M’s Rush Hour with Gus, Jude and Wendell, Arrow was open and honest about how things turned out at Redfern.
“I think the way we were traveling halfway through the year it was exciting for us.” said Arrow.
“So and then [in the] back end of the year it was just it wasn’t working for us.”
“You know, I think as players, we can sort of put our hand up a bit more and take ownership.”
“It’s not a good feeling and something you know I don’t want to feel again at this club.”
South had one of the biggest capitulations in recent memory to miss the top eight.
